Emergencies are part of life and each one of us needs support in certain times. Our pedagogues, music and art therapist are creating a safe environment for playing, creating, healing and learning for children and caretakers. And they are also making our centers a happy place. It is through happiness, that the children can see that life is not only made of terrible disasters, even though they have experienced many in recent times. There are always beautiful, funny and joyful moments.
But even in a secure environment, which fosters a rhythmic daily routine and rituals, in which attachment figures and shelter are provided, it takes time for wounds to heal. Our colleagues have the patience, love and stamina for this.
